Tori Whitley
Tori Danielle Whitley is a young writer who was born, raised and currently resides in Mississippi. She has always had a passion for the arts: music, painting, fashion design. But her first love is the written and spoken word. While pursuing her MBA at Jackson State University, she decided to return her attention to what makes her happy: writing. She writes about her passions; most notably young people in business, real estate, the African-American community, relationships, and natural hair.
Tori currently works in state government, where she is involved in many aspects of training and professional development. She is also a part-time real estate agent and boasts membership in the National Association of Realtors, Mississippi Association of Personnel Administrators, Mississippi Administrative Assistant Professionals Society, and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.
She is working on a book of poetry titled Human and her first novel, tentatively titled The Underbelly.
